Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and GoLearnix, PLACEHOLDER — registered address (“we”, “us”), covering your use of GoLearnix. By creating an account or using the platform you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use GoLearnix.

1. What GoLearnix is

GoLearnix is a study platform for MBBS students: question banks with written explanations, past papers with validated answers, a library of reference texts, notes and highlighting tools, and performance analytics organised around your own university's curriculum.

2. Eligibility and your account

  • You must be at least 16 and enrolled in, or preparing to enter, medical education.
  • Give accurate registration details and keep them current. Your university and year determine what you can access.
  • Your account is personal. Do not share your password or let anyone else use your account. We limit how many devices can be signed in at once, and repeatedly exceeding it may be treated as sharing.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access.

3. Educational use only. Not medical advice.

Everything on GoLearnix is provided for education and exam preparation only. It is not medical advice, not a diagnostic tool, and not a clinical reference. It must never be used to diagnose or treat any person, and it is not a substitute for the clinical judgement of a qualified healthcare professional, for your own supervised training, or for your institution's teaching.

Medicine changes, and question banks and textbooks date. We work hard on accuracy, and our answers and explanations are reviewed by medical experts, but we do not warrant that any content is complete, current, or free of error. Always check anything clinically important against a current authoritative source and your own faculty. Relying on GoLearnix for patient care is your responsibility alone.

4. Access and availability

GoLearnix is in early access and currently free. We may introduce paid plans later; if we do, we will tell you before anything you already have is affected, and you will never be charged without agreeing first. We may change, suspend, or withdraw features, and we do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error free.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Copy, download in bulk, scrape, republish, resell, or redistribute questions, explanations, past papers, or library content, in any medium. This includes posting them to study groups, file-sharing sites, or other question banks.
  • Share your account, or sell or transfer access to it.
  • Use automated tools against the platform, or try to bypass rate limits, device limits, or access controls.
  • Reverse engineer the platform, probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission, or interfere with its operation.
  • Use GoLearnix to cheat in an examination, or in any way your institution or examining body prohibits.
  • Upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content.

Our question banks are the product of substantial expert work, and redistributing them is the one thing most likely to get an account permanently closed.

6. Our content and your content

Ours. The platform, its question banks, explanations, analytics, design, and branding belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them for your own study for as long as your account is open. Nothing else is transferred to you.

Yours. Your notes, highlights, and anything else you create stay yours. You grant us only the licence we need to store it, process it, and show it back to you, and to keep backups. We do not publish it, sell it, or use it to train anything without asking you first. Delete your account and it goes with it.

7. Third-party materials

The library includes textbooks and past papers in which third parties hold rights, made available under the arrangements we have with them and subject to any limits those arrangements impose. Your licence to read them exists only inside GoLearnix.

If you hold rights in material you believe is on GoLearnix without permission, contact us with enough detail to identify the material and your rights in it, and we will investigate and remove it where the claim is made out.

8. Suspension and closing your account

You can stop using GoLearnix and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, particularly §5, or where we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable to do so we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you. Subject to that, and to the fullest extent the law allows:

  • The platform is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We are not liable for examination results, academic outcomes, career consequences, or any clinical decision taken in reliance on the platform.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data where you have not kept your own copy of work you consider important.

If you are a consumer, you keep every right your local consumer law gives you, and nothing here removes it.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and for material changes we will notify you before they take effect. Continuing to use GoLearnix afterwards means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, close your account.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of PLACEHOLDER — governing law / jurisdiction, and the courts there have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in.
